Strawberry Rhubarb’s first of the season rhubarb and strawberries is the perfect match for rich, buttery cheeses. Think camembert, robiola, epoisses and fresh ricotta. Because strawberries have very little natural pectin, this jam is not as thick as some of our other flavors. We do use a bit of natural fruit pectin on occasion to help us achieve just the right texture.
Spring’s favorite combination! The bright strawberry and tangy rhubarb flavors work well when paired with buttery rich cheeses, including camembert, triple crème cheese, epoisses and fresh ricotta. Strawberry Rhubarb’s runnier texture also makes it a great addition when stirred into yogurt or as a topping for ice cream.
